I offer a range of hunting knives with overall blade lengths of approximately 115 mm - 125 mm / 4 1/2 - 5 inches as shown on this page. All knives are sold with a deep pouch type leather sheath as shown in the photos. Because the knives are quite tight in the sheaths they are made with a brass lined thong hole so a cord lanyard may be used to assist removal from the sheath.

Short boning knife SBN

A 115 mm / 4 1/2 inch knife related to my boning knife. The fine point is useful for jobs such as cutting around the vent, the raised point lifts the hand above the the work when opening body cavities, while there is sufficient sweep to be
useful for skinning. A versatile, uncommon design. Inletted half tang construction.

Raised Drop Point RDP

A versatile semi-skinner style knife, a larger brother to my personal hunting knife. The raised point puts the hand above the work when opening body cavities, while the sweep is useful for skinning.

A drop point knife with finger groove handle. This handle has been designed to provide good grip during normal use but also to be comfortable when used upside down.

A drop point knife with fine point and finger groove handle. The point of this knife has been made more pointed than my usual drop points to make tricky jobs such as cutting around the vent easier.

Finger Groove Spear Point Spear Point with Finger Groove Handle FGSP120

A 120mm long spear point knife with finger groove handle. I decided to make a spear point knife after considering the relationship of the top point angle to comfortable wrist articulation angle. The steeper top angle helps prevent the point of the knife digging into flesh when making initial skinning cuts inside the legs.

Gut Hook Drop Point GUT
